ARC Certified UHF RFID Label 76×20mm | Avery Dennison AD Belt U9 Pure™ | NXP UCODE® 9
The ForNext ARC certified UHF RFID label is engineered for applications that require compact size, reliable item level identification and sustainable RFID performance across retail, fashion and industrial supply chain environments.
Built with Avery Dennison AD Belt U9 Pure™ and powered by the NXP UCODE® 9 chip, this label offers strong RF performance in a slim paper based format. It is designed for global retail, industrial and supply chain applications, with particularly dependable performance on difficult to tag or low detuning materials such as cardboard and plastic, as well as in demanding close coupling environments.
This label is compliant with ISO/IEC 18000 63 and EPCglobal Gen2v2.1, and provides 96 bits EPC memory with 32 bits kill password. It supports read ranges of up to 17.5 metres under ETSI standard and up to 11 metres under FCC standard, depending on reader setup and operating environment. Its compact size of 76 × 20 mm makes it well suited for apparel tags, retail labelling and other item level RFID applications where space is limited but performance remains critical.
A key advantage of the AD Belt U9 Pure™ platform is its strong sustainability profile. The antenna is manufactured directly on a paper substrate, making inlays and tags based on this construction 100% plastic free. According to independent life cycle analysis data, this approach can typically deliver 70 to 90 percent carbon footprint savings compared with traditional etched antenna production methods. The construction also supports improved material efficiency, recycling of excess materials and reduced overall material usage while maintaining performance.
The paper based RFID construction has also been verified by third party laboratories for recycling related performance. In the EU, its impact on cardboard recycling has been tested against PTS RH 021:97/2012. In the US, the hangtag construction has been certified by Western Michigan University for repulpability and recyclability, and How2Recycle® has pre qualified the RFID construction for use on paper hangtags as eligible for a widely recyclable label claim.
Designed for item level tagging, the AD Belt U9 Pure™ format is suitable for apparel and fashion, industrial applications, jewellery, logistics, electronics, toys, inventory and warehouse management. It offers a compact yet high performing RFID solution for brands and converters seeking both reliable retail compatibility and a more sustainable label construction.
