The ForNext 89×25mm Screw-Mount On-Metal RFID Tag is a rugged, industrial-grade tag engineered specifically for applications where metallic surfaces typically weaken or block UHF signals.
Its tuned on-metal antenna and Impinj Monza R6-P chip deliver strong, stable performance in challenging environments, ensuring reliable identification for tools, machinery, IT equipment, steel containers and fixed industrial assets.
Designed with a durable PC housing and a thickness of 10.5 mm, the tag withstands impact, vibration and long-term outdoor exposure.
For installation, it supports three mounting methods — a 3M industrial adhesive backing for quick peel-and-stick deployment, direct surface adhesion on flat metallic areas, or secure screw/rivet mounting via the dual 5 mm holes.
This flexibility allows the tag to be deployed across a wide range of metal assets with different surface conditions or long-term durability requirements.
Under fixed readers, the tag achieves up to 12 m (FCC) and 10 m (ETSI) read range on metal — outperforming conventional on-metal labels of similar size.
The optimised design ensures consistent read/write functionality even in environments with interference, moving assets or densely packed metal equipment.
Rated to IP68, the tag withstands moisture, mud, oils, chemicals and temperature swings from –30°C to +70°C.
