The ForNext 80×8mm on-metal UHF hard tag is a slim yet industrial-grade solution engineered for tools, instruments and compact metal assets where space is limited but reliability is essential. Its FR4 PCB construction, IP68 waterproof protection and –40°C to +100°C operating tolerance allow the tag to withstand vibration, oils, solvents and long-term outdoor exposure.
Designed for flexible installation, it supports both adhesive mounting and screw-fixing via the 3 mm hole, enabling fast and secure deployment on flat or curved metal surfaces.

Powered by the Ucode 8 chip, it achieves up to 5.5 m read range (FCC) while maintaining excellent sensitivity on narrow metallic areas. This makes it ideal for high-density asset tracking across manufacturing plants, tool calibration systems, maintenance workflows and field operations.

The ForNext 80×8mm On-Metal RFID Tag is a compact, lightweight industrial tag engineered for metallic tools, instruments, fixtures and small equipment.
Built around a precision-tuned FR4 PCB structure and equipped with the Ucode 8 IC, it provides stable, long-range performance in applications where space is highly limited yet reliability is critical.

The 3.5 mm thick construction ensures excellent resilience against vibration, impact, and daily operational wear.
To support diverse installation requirements, the tag offers two mounting methods — a strong adhesive backing for quick, low-profile attachment, or mechanical fixing via the integrated 3 mm mounting hole.
This flexibility makes it suitable for tools and components where drilling is possible as well as surfaces requiring non-invasive installation.

Despite its compact size, the optimised antenna design delivers impressive read ranges of up to 5.5 m on metal surfaces using fixed readers under the FCC band.
The tag maintains dependable identification even on narrow metallic edges, curved tooling housings and compact industrial components.

Rated to IP68, the FR4 PCB housing resists oils, chemicals, moisture and large temperature swings from –40°C to +100°C.
This makes it suitable for industrial manufacturing lines, indoor/outdoor asset management, field tools, calibration equipment, and other high-density applications where small form-factor tags are required.
