The ForNext 8×3mm Miniature On-Metal RFID Tag is an ultra-compact UHF tag engineered for applications where space is extremely limited, yet reliable metallic-surface performance is still required.
Despite its tiny footprint, the tag integrates a tuned PCB-based on-metal antenna and the high-sensitivity Ucode-8 IC, enabling dependable identification of metallic tools, small components, medical instruments, and precision equipment.

Constructed on a robust FR4 PCB, the tag offers mechanical durability while maintaining a lightweight 0.5g profile.
Its industrial adhesive mounting allows quick installation onto flat metal surfaces, providing a secure attachment method for high-density asset tracking, electronic modules, calibration tools, and small returnable parts.

With up to 75 cm read range using fixed readers and 50 cm using handheld devices, the 0803 tag delivers one of the best read-range-to-size ratios among miniature on-metal UHF tags.
The tuned design ensures consistent RF performance for close-proximity scanning, automated assembly lines, surgical trays, and densely packed maintenance kits.

Rated to IP68 and proven in harsh environments, the tag withstands oils, solvents, moisture and extreme temperatures from –40°C to +100°C during operation (up to +150°C during storage).
This makes it suitable for manufacturing, aerospace electronics, healthcare sterilisation cycles, laboratory tools, and small metallic assets requiring long-term identification.
