Dual Frequency On-Metal RFID Tag 105×30×7.5mm | ABS+PC | EM4423
The ForNext 105×30×7.5mm dual frequency on-metal RFID tag is engineered for applications that require both close-range NFC interaction and long-range UHF identification on metallic surfaces in industrial, warehouse and asset management environments.
Built with a durable ABS + PC housing, this tag is designed specifically for direct use on metal surfaces, where ordinary RFID labels often experience severe signal loss or unstable performance. Its dual frequency structure allows one tag to support both NFC functionality for close-range interaction and EPC/UHF functionality for longer-range RFID tracking, making it especially useful in applications that require both user interaction and automated asset visibility.
The tag supports flexible installation through adhesive backing, screw mounting and cable tie fixing, allowing deployment across a wide range of metal assets such as tools, machinery, steel cabinets, warehouse racks, returnable transport items and industrial equipment. This makes it suitable for fixed asset identification as well as movable industrial assets where durable mounting is required.
With a size of 105 × 30 × 7.5 mm, this dual frequency tag is powered by the EM4423 chip and supports both NFC and EPC data handling in one device. According to the product configuration, memory includes 7 bytes UID (NFC), 96 bits TID (EPC), 1920 bits USER data (NFC), 160 bits USER data (EPC) and 128 bits EPC. This structure allows the tag to support richer data storage and broader application flexibility than a standard single-frequency industrial RFID tag.
Designed for the global UHF bands of 902–928 MHz (US) and 865–868 MHz (EU), the tag achieves up to 5 m fixed-reader read range in FCC and 4 m in ETSI. Under handheld readers, typical performance reaches 1.5 m in FCC and 1.3 m in ETSI. With an operating temperature range of -25°C to +85°C, it is suitable for long-term industrial use in demanding environments.
